Doctors, Dentists, and Snowing...Oh My!

It is hard to believe Adaline is almost one year old. The time has gone by so fast and she has grown so much! Although she cannot yet crawl, she is able to get on her hands and knees and rock back and forth. Her lack of crawling skills doesn't slow her down too much, as she can roll around the room and even gets under furniture. So, we still have to keep an eye on her all the time.

The Brown household has had a rough few weeks. Adaline is on antibiotics for her first double ear infection, which has brought with it a lot of runny noses and coughing spells, complete with spewing whatever the last meal was all over mommy or daddy. Also, I have been sick a bit too, so Shane is the lone survivor so far.

We have had some snow here in NC, and missed several days of work and daycare because of it. It would have been more fun if we were all well enough to play outside, but we used the time to cuddle and get better.

She is so smart, she can read upside down.

Adaline had her first trip to the dentist this past week (Emily, I know you are proud). She is almost a year old and has one tooth, with a few more on the way. The check-up went well, and Adaline seemed happy the whole time. Shane got to take her while I was at work, but I was happy to see some pictures.
